THE BLACK YOUTH FUND

The Portland Black Youth Fund was created to support the creative black youth ages 14-25. We are a group of Black youth and Black adults who see the discrepancies in economic support provided to the creative community of black youth across America. We see that funds are essential for the growth and success of Black artists. The Black Youth fund is a way for us to redistribute money to the applicants. It is evident that the current state of the economy will not be a backbone of support for the black community and for that reason, a means to support and care was created.
